Driver faces alcohol, marijuana charges in connection with Virginia auto accident

DailyPress.com reported that two young people were struck as they were trying to cross the street in Virginia Beach.

The Virginia auto accident was caused by a young woman who was in possession of alcohol and marijuana, and she was driving with a suspended operator’s license.

The driver involved with the Virginia auto accident has a history of shoplifting and reckless driving.

The victims, one 5-year-old boy and one 13-year-old girl, were injured and are being treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Overnight shooting causes Virginia wrongful death

A 21-year-old man was shot and killed early Saturday morning Tyler Avenue, according to The Daily Press.

Police discovered the wrongful death just before midnight suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper part of his body.

The Virginia wrongful death victim died at 12:40 a.m. at a local hospital.

There are no suspects or motives as of yet in the Virginia wrongful death, according to police.

Murder indictment sought for Richmond wrongful death

Richmond Times-Dispatch reported that prosecutors are seeking a first-degree murder indictment today against a man involved with the Richmond wrongful death.

This man shot a bondsman from South Richmond three times from behind as the bondsman tried to take him to jail for not appearing in court on a felony drug charge.

A multijurisdictional grand jury will be asked to indict the shooter for first-degree murder and unlawful use of a firearm. He has appeared once by videoconference in the Richmond General District Court on a general murder charge. A preliminary hearing for the Virginia wrongful death is scheduled in Manchester on that charge sometime next week.

Virginia Motorcyclist injured; driver who hit him charged with DUI

The Daily Press reported that a motorcyclist was seriously injured last night in a Virginia auto accident when he was struck by a driver who was intoxicated.

The Virginia motorcycle accident victim was riding on Lynnhaven Parkway when he was hit by the drunk driver as he was turning onto Blackstone Trail.

The car accident victim was flown by helicopter to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with serious motorcycle accident injuries.

The man who caused the Virginia auto accident was charged with driving under the influence and with maiming.
