According to the Richmond Times-Dispatch, witnesses told police that the man’s Cadillac El Dorado sideswiped a parked car and hit a retaining wall then drove off the hill on Libby Terrace.

Single-car crash kills two in Virginia

The Virginia State Police are searching for information on a Virginia crash that claimed two lives, according to The Martinsville Bulletin.

No charges were filed in connection with the Virginia single-vehicle crash that killed a Collinsville woman and Bassett man on Bassett Heights Road.

A 1992 Toyota Corolla lost control, overturned and hit a tree. The driver of the vehicle and another passenger survived. Police believe another vehicle had been on the wrong side of the road, which caused the Virginia auto accident.

Richmond tractor-trailer tire causes woman’s death

A right-rear tire came off a tractor-trailer going eastbound on I-64 in Richmond.

A 36-year-old Colonial Heights woman driving a Ford minivan heading west got caught in the tire’s path and wrecked, according to WAVY.com. The woman died, and police say charges are pending as the crash remains under investigation.
