McGuire Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Richmond has been conducting research studies for various conditions.
According to The Richmond Times-Dispatch, 400 men and women have taken part in research studies at the McGuire Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Richmond, including studies for those who have suffered brain injuries.
Some of the newer research is looking at helping men and women recover and rehabilitate from polytrauma, a severe brain injury combined with other serious injuries.
