Officer dies in Virginia auto accident

Authorities believe that alcohol was a factor in a recent Virginia car accident that cost an officer his life, according to WSET-TV.
A man was driving the wrong way down the road when he collided with another vehicle, driven by a well-known police officer.
The officer called to the scene of the Virginia auto accident smelled the alcohol on the man’s breath.
The man is listed as being in fair condition at a local hospital, while the officer involved in the Virginia auto accident died at the scene.
