For almost 15 years, Chris Daughtry has been fighting for the rights of the injured. He has resolved hundreds of personal injury and workers’ compensation cases ranging from catastrophic boiler explosions and maritime accidents to traumatic brain injury and tractor-trailer crashes. Whether it be fundamental trial advocacy or unconventional problem solving, Chris is adept at using whatever method it takes to get the best results for his clients, including mediations and settlement conferences. Chris has also successfully defended several of his clients’ wins after they were appealed by insurance companies. He has been named by Virginia Super Lawyers as a Rising Star in personal injury law; and a Top Lawyer for Workers’ Compensation by Coastal Virginia Magazine – both peer-nominated honors.

Chris is licensed to practice in the state and federal courts of Virginia and West Virginia; the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit; and the Supreme Court of the United States.

At Geoff McDonald and Associates, Chris continues to fight for the injured, and handles both personal injury and workers’ compensation cases.

Chris was born and raised in Chesapeake, Virginia. After serving in the United States Army, he returned home and graduated from Old Dominion University. He received his law degree from Liberty University School of Law and tried his first personal injury case one week after passing the bar exam – in his hometown of Chesapeake.
