Alyssa Fetterolf

Alyssa B. Fetterolf participates as a member of the firm’s Personal Injury Department. Alyssa is committed to assisting our clients and the community by providing excellent professional services and thoughtful solutions.

Alyssa attended George Mason University, graduating Cum Laude in 2016 with her Bachelor of Arts in Integrative Studies with a concentration in Organizational Administration. At George Mason, she received a minor in Psychology and a minor in Consciousness and Transformation.

After gaining professional experience working for DiMuroGinsberg PC, a boutique litigation law firm in Alexandria, Virginia, she decided to pursue her law degree. In 2018, Alyssa moved to Washington, D.C. to attend Catholic University of America Columbus School of Law. In 2019, she transferred to the University of Richmond School of Law to finish her law degree.

During her first year of law school, Alyssa won the First Lap Award for dedicated service to the law school community; and attended the Robert M. Cover Retreat sponsored by Yale Law School and the Society for American Law Teachers, “Resistance: Our Human Rights Are Under Attack: How do we use our JDs as a weapon against injustice?” After transferring, she became a staff member of the University of Richmond Public Interest Law Review; and earned a Yellow Belt Certification in the Lean Six Sigma Program, specializing in eliminating waste and enhancing business processes. Alyssa interned with the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Virginia for the Honorable Anthony J. Trenga; with the American Civil Liberty Union (ACLU) of Virginia; and with the Fredericksburg Public Defender’s office. Alyssa also spent time as a Student Associate doing defense work at the University of Richmond Children’s Defense Clinic.

In December 2021, she earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Richmond School of Law. Upon graduation, Alyssa was awarded a Certificate of Concentration in Family Law from the “National Center for Family Law”; and was awarded the Pro Bono Certificate from the “Harry L. Carrico Center for Pro Bono and Public Service” for her 180+ hours of law-related volunteer service work.

In 2022, Alyssa made the move to join Geoff and his team to help injured claimants. Alyssa remains dedicated to public service, and continues to advocate on behalf of the underrepresented.

When she is not advocating for our clients, Alyssa spends her free time watching football or basketball with her fiancé and their two dogs, Sadie and Rambo. Outside the office, you can usually find her exploring Richmond’s many festivals and events, playing co-ed slow pitch softball, or spending quality time with her friends and family.

Please reach out to Geoff McDonald & Associates, P.C., to speak with Alyssa about help with your personal injury claim today.
