Emma Pearman practices both personal Injury and workers’ compensation with Geoff McDonald & Associates, P.C. and is licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Born and raised in Roanoke, Virginia, Emma earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Radford University, graduating cum laude. She continued her education at the West Virginia University College of Law, where she obtained her Juris Doctor in 2022. During law school, Emma was inducted into the national Order of the Barristers in recognition of her experience in oral advocacy. She simultaneously earned her Master of Public Administration from West Virginia University, graduating summa cum laude.
Throughout law school, Emma gained experience across several areas of practice including serving as an intern with the Disability Rights Section of the U.S. Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division and as a third-year licensed student attorney litigating criminal cases with the West Virginia Innocence Project.
After graduating law school, Emma moved to the Hampton Roads area in 2022, where she later practiced workers’ compensation law, further developing her litigation and client advocacy skills. Her experience has shaped her commitment to providing thoughtful, diligent, and effective advocacy for clients.
Outside of work, Emma enjoys traveling with her husband, exploring new places and historical sites, and spending time with her family.
