Dog lovers of all ages brought their dogs to the Dog Kissing Booth fundraising event for the SPCA on February 9 in Richmond, Virginia. At the Dog Kissing Booth, dog owners donate $10 and receive a photo of themselves kissing their pup.
This event has raised over $8,000 for the Richmond SPCA, and many of the happy dog owners who adopted their canines from the SPCA return year after year for the Dog Kissing Booth event. More than 200 dogs have participated since 2018, plus more than 500 people. The funds raised help shelter more than 4,000 homeless dogs and cats and to provide programs that help families keep their pets, such as behavior support and low-cost veterinary care, according to the Richmond SPCA.

Staff from Geoff McDonald & Associates were volunteers at this local fundraiser for the second consecutive year. In addition to volunteering at the event, Geoff McDonald & Associates partnered with the SPCA for the “GMA Nonprofit of the Month Partnership” for the month of February. At the end of the month, the firm will make a donation to the SPCA based on social media interactions.
