Geoff McDonald & Associates (GMA) has been named among the Richmond region’s “2020 Top Workplaces” by the Richmond Times-Dispatch. The Richmond-based personal injury law firm which employs nine attorneys, nine paralegals, and 18 staff members is ranked under the “small company” category with 124 or fewer employees.
GMA, one of just four Richmond law firms recognized this year, joins 80 other regional companies honored for providing outstanding places of employment in Central Virginia, benefitting the state’s economy, and cultivating the workforce.
The Richmond Times-Dispatch hired an independent consulting firm, Energage, to manage the survey, conduct analysis and determine final rankings. Companies were evaluated on leadership, management, compensation, benefits, training, work-life balance as well as encouraging community involvement and promoting diversity.
“Our law firm takes great pride in being recognized among Richmond’s 2020 Top Work Places. It is our mission to create a work environment that encourages professionalism, fosters productivity, enhances client service, and fulfills the career goals of our attorneys and staff,” said Geoff McDonald, principal and founder of GMA.
